The local Forte Catholic team got together(w/health social distancing) for a time of prayer, worship and an amazing talk by Allison. I hear Scripture different than most people, and today was no exception. Today's first reading is absolutely soul crushing to a certain group of people and you would cry if similar things were said to you. The Saint of the Day, St. Agnes, is a great example but my issue is what she is the patron saint of because it doesn't line up well with how her life turned out. She called me the world’s expert on keeping kids Catholic......I didn’t live up. We talked about being bored in faith and how all adults play a huge role in the faith lives of young people.
